Inés de Agueda
Inés has been a Varda Group associate since January 2013.
She holds a Bachelor Degree in environmental sciences with the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain and an MSc in environmental policy by Wageningen University in the Netherlands. In the last three years Ines has supported the policy, engagement and communications work of the Global Ocean Commission. She also works on other projects for Varda clients, including in the area of climate change policy and action and sustainable artisanal fishing among others, and manages special events.
Previously, Inés worked in New York with the non-profit group Islands First and the Permanent Mission of Nauru to the United Nations, with a focus on climate change negotiations and preparations for Rio+20. She is fluent in Spanish, French and English.
