Areas In Which We Work

Introduction

All combined, the Varda Group personnel totals nearly two centuries of experience in the field of advocacy. Individually and collectively we have worked on a countless number of sectoral and cross-sectoral environmental, social, public health and transparency issues.There is a vast array of issues we are associated with historically and currently, for example climate change, marine biodiversity, tobacco control, fisheries conservation, maritime policy, nuclear safety and security and arms control, toxic pollution and clean production, fresh water management and sanitation,  sustainable consumption, international governance, international trade, access to information and transparency, etc.

But since we have formed the Varda Group in 2003 our partners and clients have seen that our know-how can be put to the service of any issue that we like and feel comfortable with. This is a win-win opportunity for all: our clients and partners benefit from our skills and passion, which we are able to put to the benefit of an ever expanding number of issues we are proud to work for and support.

In this section we have clustered some of the main thematic areas in which we work. As the Varda Group will soon be ten years of age, we believe it can provide a good snapshot.

We have worked and continue to work on every continent, and have the ability to operate routinely in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
